Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for grading, paving, and underground utility projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to identify cost factors.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
- Maintain databases of material costs and historical data for future estimates.
- Work closely with senior estimators to develop accurate and competitive bids.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project information.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction estimation or related roles.
- Familiarity with construction estimation software (training provided if needed).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of grading, paving, or underground utility construction processes.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.
