Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles and heavy equipment to identify issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems effectively.
- Operate heavy machinery safely while conducting repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding vehicle status.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
- Proven experience as a mechanic or diagnostic technician, preferably with heavy equipment or automotive experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with schematics and mechanical systems relevant to heavy machinery.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics is a plus but not required.
- CDL A/B Preferred
