Field Application Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Application Scientist (FAS) who can also take on a technical sales role, depending on experience and interest. This position can be purely technical or a hybrid role combining technical support with sales responsibilities. Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory—it's a plus for candidates who enjoy engaging with customers beyond scientific support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical needs and ensuring successful product adoption.
• Perform product installations and on-site training for customers.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including application guidance, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and upgrades.
• Gather customer feedback and monitor industry trends to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
• Work closely with R&D team to improve product functionality based on customer input.
• Support the sales team, offering strategic technical insights and contributing to business growth.
• Conduct customer meetings, webinars, and training sessions to educate users on our technology.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites, conferences, and company meetings.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biology or a related field (Advanced degree in Biochemistry, Engineering, or related sciences preferred).
• Experience as a Field Application Scientist or in a technical support role for biotech or biopharma instruments.
• Experience working with extracellular vesicles or nanoparticle-related applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and excellent communication abilities.
• Well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Sales experience is not required but is a plus for candidates interested in a hybrid FAS & technical sales role.
• Ability to collaborate across different teams and work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
