UX Designer

Overview: We are looking for a UX Designer to support our client, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for educational administrative systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centric design and understands the unique needs and challenges faced by administrative staff in educational institutions. This role will also collaborate with the client's Project Management Office (PMO) to identify key areas for improvement and ensure compliance with project management tools and processes while fostering cross-departmental collaboration. Additionally, this role will facilitate collaboration between departments and external vendors to ensure all project requirements are identified, procured, and available to meet the project schedule. Duties Collaborate with product managers, developers, and educational administrators to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience. Execute all stages of the design process from concept to final hand-off to engineering, including wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design. Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. Develop and maintain personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts. Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively. Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and standards. Current with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Advocate for the end-user throughout the development process and ensure that user experience is prioritized. Design solutions that streamline administrative processes and enhance efficiency. Mandatory Skills/Experience: 7+ years of experience in managing higher education, government, and/or corporate projects with a broad breadth of experience in application development is preferred. Experience providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on business/functional-related matters. Experience in evaluating and improving existing business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Experience in utilizing data analytics to drive business insights and identify opportunities for digital enhancement. Travel may be required.
