The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of Chevy Chase Trust's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work for CCT and the firm’s designees on strategic and tactical projects as needed, potentially including but not limited to, the following:

Support Director, Thematic Research Analyst, in the work on secular trends in the global economy and fundamental analysis of companies impacted by thematic changes.

Support Director, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, in the work assisting clients and researching fixed income securities.

Support Co-Head of Planning and Senior Financial Planner, in their work preparing financial plans for clients of the firm.

General work in reviewing CCT’s competitive position and performance in the wealth management industry and analytic exercises exploring the use of current tools to build investment portfolios for clients

At the conclusion of the internship, the following goals should have been achieved:

Understand wealth/investment management industry at a high level and CCT’s place in the ecosystem (what makes CCT a desirable partner to wealthy families and institutions)

Understand Thematic investing in practice at a high level.

Understand CCT’s approach to financial planning and service

Complete one or more “deliverables” that create ongoing value for CCT
