Eventide Senior Living Communities is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support its campuses. The Benefits Coordinator assists with the employee benefits programs within the organization. This position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

This position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

Essential Functions
- Ensures new enrollments and changes are received and processed by benefit vendors for new hires, employees changing to a benefits-eligible status and following the annual open enrollment.
- Terminates benefit plans for employees due to separation of employment or status change and processes paid time off (PTO) payouts.
- Communicates benefit offerings to new hires and employees changing to a benefits-eligible status.
- Manages and administers employee leaves of absence including FMLA, personal leaves, limited leaves, etc.
- Coordinates and assists with annual open enrollment including scheduling meetings and vendors, communication and distribution of benefits materials and assisting with auditing and processing enrollment changes.
- Works closely with external benefit vendors to resolve issues concerning enrollments, file feeds, etc.
- Coordinates and assists with periodic retirement meetings at each campus.
- Assists with reconciling and processing all invoices for payment to vendors and insurance carriers related to benefits and retirement plans.
- Coordinates workers' compensation claims with third-party administrator. Follow up on claims.
- Assists Benefits Manager in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.
- Prepares and coordinates meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.
- Ensures distribution of required employee notices.
- Assists Benefits Manager in completing benefits reporting requirements.
