  • The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $50,000 - $60,000 annually, PLUS an annual performance-based, discretionary . Compensation is dependent on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

What You Will Do - Essential Functions

The IT Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to all organizational hardware, software (proprietary and purchased) and peripheral equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance and excellent customer service. Additionally, the role works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, requests, problems, IT asset management lifecycle and organizational projects.

  • End User Support & Guidance:
    • Provides support for end users, including hardware, software, and peripheral equipment (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile device management, etc.)
    • Provides guidance to end users on the effective utilization of desktop applications.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Performs hardware, software, and consumables inventory/asset management, covering all lifecycle phases (purchase, prep, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, decommission, recycling).
  • Device Installation & Upgrades: Installs and upgrades organizational computing devices, IoT devices, voice devices, and associated equipment.
  • Technical Documentation & Service Management: Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.
Who You Are

  • Required Qualifications
    • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or Information Security field, technical program or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in supporting enterprise level hardware and software
    • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities at one time
    • Organized, quick learner, detail oriented
    • This position requires driving. Employee must have an active driver’s license and must be insurable. Lucet will request a motor vehicle record from the appropriate authority.
    • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.

    • Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment- not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

    • Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, copier, computer and fax machine
