We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our team. The Project Coordinator/Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for concrete cutting, sawing, drilling, and demolition projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information
  • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and clients to understand project scope and objectives
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Solicit and review contractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Prepare and present bid proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner
  • Monitor and update project budgets and cost estimates as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for concrete cutting, sawing, drilling, and demolition projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
