Compensation Range: $21.00 -$27.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8-5
How does a Parts Counter Drive Impact?
Our Parts Counter will be someone who supports our parts department while providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Some of the responsibilities would include:
Check in orders, pull orders, and put stock orders away
Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices as needed
Create special order requests for parts not in stock and/or acquire in town if possible
Monitor special orders, upgrade parts if backorder
Keep good communication with customers, both internal and external
Actively do cycle counts on the inventory
Assist the manager with damage/shortage claims with the manufacturer
Deliver parts to the Technicians
Set up parts deliveries for wholesale customers
Assist all customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
Scrap warranty and/or obsolete parts
Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values
All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy while having the ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities.
- Proven experience working alone and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and being able to utilize other computer programs as needed.
- This position will require you to move around the dealership and is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting.
