Position Summary

Required skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our team in the production of windshield washer pumps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various components of the pump, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform spot welding, riveting, and screwing fasteners to assemble pump components.
  • Manually assemble small, sensitive components such as O-rings and gaskets.
  • Apply lubricants to specific parts as required.
  • Conduct testing using mechanical testers to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Operate production equipment including spot welders, riveters, pneumatic presses, and testers.
  • Handle and manage small spills of washer fluid safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in manual assembly and use of power tools.
  • Ability to operate production equipment such as spot welders, riveters, pneumatic presses, and testers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with small, sensitive components.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical testing procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar assembly role.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
