Job Overview

Kusmack Electric Inc is actively seeking a licensed Lead Electrician to join our tight-knit, high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you'll take the lead on both residential and light commercial projects across Southwest Michigan, from Kalamazoo to the Lakeshore. You'll operate independently and collaboratively with our experienced crews, while enjoying strong job security, a company vehicle, and the backing of a company that values craftsmanship and team culture. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installations for residential and light commercial projects
• Manage and execute work independently or as part of a crew
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure compliance with local codes
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Provide mentorship to apprentices or junior electricians when needed
• Represent the company with professionalism on every job site
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
• 4+ years of residential and commercial electrical experience with a Journeyman License. (Required)
• Strong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and lead job sites
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license (Company vehicle provided)
• High standard of safety, quality, and reliability

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• 40-45 hours per week with overtime potential
