Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Design and implement scalable analytics solutions utilizing enterprise-level datasets to drive operational excellence
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to diverse stakeholders
- Own end-to-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and swift resolution of data discrepancies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize existing programs and identify new opportunities for improvement
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to investigate process inefficiencies and propose solutions

About The Team
The AMER OpsTech Solutions (OTS) Operational Excellence and Analytics team enables Amazon's operational technology infrastructure through data-driven insights .. We're integral to maintaining Amazon's customer commitment through:
- Descriptive and Predictive analytics.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven decision support for senior leadership
- Data based insights to continuous improvement of operational processes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis or statistical tools such as SAS
