The Medical Assistant is a member of the patient care team conducting patient preoperative phone interviews. Also does chart auditing and Medical Records. Communication with physician offices regarding upcoming patient procedures. These duties include patient chart and patient preparation, moving patients, assist with room/bed turnover, restocking units, recording vitals and medical history, instrument care and a variety of clinical tasks in a clinical setting. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with all patients and medical staff.

Requirements
- Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization.
- English speaking is required. Spanish speaking is preferred
