Litigation Attorney

Our firm just celebrated its 14th year in practice. We are looking for a litigation attorney who is ready to get involved in some very interesting and rewarding cases. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today's technology well,

Responsibilities

• Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
• Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis
• Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in business litigation for a minimum of 5 years is required
• Required California Bar License
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• California license must be in good standing
