ClearView Healthcare Management LLC is currently hiring a Skilled Nursing Home Billing Specialist who has experience billing claims to Medicare Insurance payors.

Medicare Billing Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Check/confirm PT Eligibility if needed
  • Assist facility Business Office Manager in balancing the daily census by reviewing patient census to check for proper payor setup and completeness and make corrections accordingly.
  • Prepare and review patient claims for accuracy and completeness and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Bills patient claims to Medicare and Managed Care primary and secondary payors
  • Monitor claim status and research all rejections and denials
  • Participate in the month-end close process
  • Identify trends and carrier issues relating to billing
  • Participate in professional educational opportunities to keep current on Medicare and insurance billing and reimbursement procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned


Medicare Billing Specialist Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • Experience working in an office setting is preferred.
  • Medicare billing experience is preferred.
  • Willing to train!
