We are seeking an experienced Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our Model Based Enterprise (MBE) team, to help develop new capabilities that will transform how GE Aerospace designs, manufactures, and validates our next generation aircraft engines. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, test, and implementation of Model Bases Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions in direct support of projects and enterprise deployments.

We are seeking an experienced Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our Model Based Enterprise (MBE) team, to help develop new capabilities that will transform how GE Aerospace designs, manufactures, and validates our next generation aircraft engines. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, test, and implementation of Model Bases Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions in direct support of projects and enterprise deployments.

Roles and Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Architect and define our ontologies as the foundations of our modeling efforts, and implement their mapping in our tool integration solutions.
- Support the modeling of our engineering processes, characterizing exchanged data, defining exchange mechanisms, and assigning processes to engineering tools according to complex business requirements.
- Support modeling patterns and ensure alignments between patterns, profiles, ontologies between engineering tools.
- Specify and develop codes and scripts to optimize integration solutions, model definition and validation processes.
- Support modeling techniques definition and implementation all along the engineering lifecycle process.
- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality.
- Triage/debug production issues (data, code, performance, security) and identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutions.
- Write technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of MBSE processes (OOSEM, Magic Grid, FAS, SYSMOD…).
- Detailed knowledge of SysML language.
- Good knowledge of OWL language.
- Deep knowledge of API principles, particularly CAMEO and Teamcenter APIs.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (CGI, Perl, Python…).
- Strong knowledge of C, C++ & C#.
- Good hands-on exposure working with IDE (Visual Studio, Eclipse).
- Basic understanding of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) configuration and customization.
- High-level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of engineering development processes (AGILE, SCRUM, SDLC…).
- Critical thinking and innovative in solution definition.
- Organized, motivated and motivating, thorough, and detail oriented.
- Eager to learn, shares ideas, encourages and accepts feedback well. High-level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
