People Operations Manager

Earn: $110,000-$120,000

Position Details

• Manage and support a team of People Ops Partners
• Performance Management: Provide consultation and support to management through performance management, including performance improvement, corrective action, and termination processes.
• Data Analyis and Reporting: Analyze HR trends and partner with internal stakeholders to improve our processes and develop proactive strategies, processes, and policies.
• Employee Engagement and Retention: Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leadership and employees through coaching, advising, and empowering them to work through even their most challenging people issues
• Policy Review and Compliance: Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company HR policies through coaching, presentations, and training.
• Conflict Resolution: oversee and support people operations partner with the resolution of employee relations issues, grievances, and conflicts in a fair, impartial and timely manner, promoting construtive dialogue and problem solving.
• Manages the HR and Accommodation tracking systems to ensure consistency, timeliness in case resolution.
• Act as a key contact for elevation of HR investigations by providing support to the People Operations Partner when needed, reviewing final case and recommendations back to management and ensure case is fully closed within departmental and legal requirements. This includes working with the legal department on any third party charges.
• Work with operational executive leadership to implement and monitor HR programs and compliance throughout our CA programs. This may include travel to sites as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills

• Masters in HR or business preferred.
• SHRM or SHRM CA certificate preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years in HR experience or 3 years of relevant generalist experience preferred.
• Ability to deal with difficult subjects and have hard conversations
• A working knowledge of employment law at the federal level, with the ability to interpret updates and changes at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Knowledge of employment laws, regualtions, and best practices related to employee relations, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEOC guidelines
• Demonstrated proficiency in CA labor law
