About You
You are an enthusiastic and curious student or recent graduate with a passion for applied data science. About You

Primary Responsibilities
- Project Support:
- Assist in developing and implementing data science solutions that address business challenges.
- Contribute to model building, testing, and refinement under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Data Preparation & Visualization:
- Use Python, R, and SQL to clean, manipulate, and transform datasets.
- Create compelling data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Superset, or Power BI.
- Data Annotation & Training Data Creation:
- Participate in data annotation efforts and help create training datasets to support model development.
- Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, Government Solutions, and project delivery teams to transform raw data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Present data findings to internal stakeholders.
- Work Authorization & Availability:
- Must be able to work on US Government contracts that may be restricted to US citizens; existing security clearance (SECRET or higher) is a plus.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the semester.
- Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools—particularly Superset—is highly preferred. Please include links to your work or a discussion of your experience in your cover letter.
- Exposure to AI and NLP is highly preferred.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in the data science space.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain data concepts.
- A collaborative attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
