Position Overview
Soccer Holdings, LLC. — parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL) — is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee and execute strategy for the company’s growing portfolio of brands.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of multiple accounts, supporting online reputation management, and fostering an engaged fan base to support business growth. This role offers the opportunity to own the brand voice and content for Soccer Holdings’ pro teams, youth academy, and state-of-the-art facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays during Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC home games and special events.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk significant distances, including up and down stairs, as required throughout the venue, as well as stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.
Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).

Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the team’s communications and marketing objectives.
- Manage and create engaging content for all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
- Create and implement a social schedule that engages current fans and builds new ones.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using insights to optimize strategy and engagement.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of digital engagement.
- Engage with fans, providing service and response to comments and messages to promote a positive online community around the teams.
- Oversee live coverage of games and team events, including real-time updates.
- Collaborate with players, coaches, and other team personnel on content creation.
- Manage sponsorship activations on social and select influencer collaborations.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industries.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and reporting tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and basic graphic design and video editing skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to multitask and work independently with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to staff home and away games.
- Passion for soccer and a deep understanding of the sport’s culture and audience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical thinker and creative problem solver.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check is required.
- Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.
