What You’ll Do
As a Wellness Assistant, you'll support the Director of Nursing and Life Enrichment Coach in providing high-quality care and engaging activities for our residents. Your role will involve:
- Coordinating daily activities and assisting with resident needs, ensuring no meals or appointments are missed.
- Handling administrative tasks, including scheduling, communication flow, and office organization.
- Providing medication support (previous Medication Technician experience preferred).
- Assisting with events, and resident programs, and coordinating services like transportation and maintenance requests.
- Being the go-to problem-solver for residents and staff.
- Helping with clerical items for the Health and Wellness Director..
- Working on the floor 4 days a week as a Med Tech..
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care (preferred).
- Medication Technician training and experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
