Position Summary
The Dosimetrist at Asante performs all aspects of treatment planning for external beam, dose measurements and calculation, patient contouring, and quality assurance. The Dosimetrist will also be involved in treatment simulation, CT planning, and block and mold fabrication. The role includes interacting with physicians and physicist; providing comprehensive input concerning patient treatment planning and methods; continuous quality improvement within the department; interacting closely with the therapists on the patient set-ups and treatments; and maintaining records procedure charges.

Position Requirements
- 1 year demonstrative experience - although may consider a new graduate.
- Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program of Radiation Therapy.
- Specialized training in Clinical Dosimetry.
- CMD: Certified Medical Dosimetrist
- Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Or Licensed in Radiation Therapy by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).
