Where You’ll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

Children’s Hospital Association’s Technology Innovation team is growing. The Director of Analytics Product Strategy will design and manage analytics solutions to enhance patient care, quality outcomes, financial performance, and operational efficiency in children's hospitals. Responsibilities include strategic planning, collaboration with stakeholders, and executing innovative analytics products. This role oversees the analytics product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, while continuously innovating and driving business goals through data-driven insights and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Leverage deep knowledge of hospital and health system operations, including service line management, regulatory compliance, and patient experience, to shape analytics content.
  • Utilize data to drive strategic planning and development, ensuring analytics are impactful, high-value, and meet the needs of members.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the roadmap and business goals, ensuring that the analytics design aligns with healthcare regulations, policies, and industry standards.
  • Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and address customer needs, aligning initiatives with business objectives and member/market needs and evolving products accordingly.
  • Oversee the entire analytics product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Implement and manage innovative solutions, leveraging data to collect, manage, and measure user behavior and product ROI.
  • Provide comprehensive analytics product analysis and summarize relevant insights for target audiences.
  • Foster a strong agile discipline with a focus on continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring To CHA

Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related field is required; MHA or FACHE accreditation preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience working within a healthcare system or hospital, with a proven record of leveraging data to improve clinical performance, quality, patient outcomes, and operations.
  • Direct experience using data visualization and analytics tools, such as Tableau and Power Bl.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of health care policies and regulations.
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project prioritization skills.
