Centralized Inventory Control Manager
The Centralized Inventory Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory control processes across all building materials warehouses. This role ensures inventory accuracy, standardizes inventory control procedures, and minimizes the need for physical inventory counts. The Centralized Inventory Controller will schedule and manage cycle counts, enforce best practices for inventory management, and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in inventory tracking. This position requires occasional travel to warehouse locations throughout the year to assess operations and improve inventory processes

Centralized Inventory Control Manager

- Review inventory control processes across all locations and identify any areas that require further standardization.
- Work with warehouse managers to implement any necessary changes or improvements to inventory control procedures.
- Update and maintain standardized inventory control documentation, ensuring it is consistent across all warehouses.
- Develop and implement process improvements to address any challenges or inefficiencies in current inventory practices.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of all inventory control processes and update procedures to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Work with warehouse teams to implement any changes to process documentation based on new inventory management strategies.
- Plan and schedule site visits to specific warehouse locations based on inventory performance, team needs, or ongoing challenges.
- Conduct assessments of warehouse inventory management practices, identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions.

- Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study Logistics or similar area of study
- 2 plus years of experience in management
- Must be proficient in MS Office and the use of Eclipse.
- Must have a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving history.
- Must have an acceptable criminal history check.
