Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Design, develop, test, and implement web applications using .Net technologies, primarily ASP.Net and C#.
- Integrate applications with databases, primarily SQL Server, to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are adhered to.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed to resolve issues and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
- Modify and improve existing software applications to add new features, fix bugs, and enhance functionality.
- Support ongoing maintenance of applications and ensure they align with evolving business requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects to ensure database performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure smooth data integration and system performance.
- Participate in the ongoing IT department support and needs.
- Be open to new opportunities and growth within the technical services department.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for systems and applications.
- Document code changes and updates to ensure clarity for future development and troubleshooting.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software development using C#, ASP.Net, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with .Net Core and Entity Framework.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen ability to address issues efficiently.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
