Key Responsibilities
- Help shape company policies by supporting the development and implementation of HR procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping the organization aligned with best practices.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management. Represent the company, when needed, at unemployment hearings.
- Conduct fair and thorough investigations into employee concerns to maintain a respectful work environment. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Ensure effective new employee on-boarding process. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, partnering with HR management on complex and/or sensitive matters.
- Maintain and optimize the company’s employee database, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Liaison between Talent Acquisition and management in the recruitment and selection of candidates.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to navigate all areas of the organization’s facilities
