Job Description
The Laser Operator fabricates parts from sheet metal using a computer-programmed laser and is responsible to produce parts in a timely manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations and specifications.
Requirements
To produce parts which meet customer specifications by setting up the machine, including selecting the correct program and materials and following blueprint instructions.
To ensure materials meet customer specifications by locating and identifying materials prior to production
To ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job.
