Overview
The SCHEELS Vendor Relations Project Specialist will work closely with Vendors, Marketing, and SCHEELS stores bringing vendor displays and assets to life in a best in class way.
Responsibilities
Customer Service
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Overview
The SCHEELS Vendor Relations Project Specialist will work closely with Vendors, Marketing, and SCHEELS stores bringing vendor displays and assets to life in a best in class way.
Responsibilities
- Design clear and compelling designs while maintaining brand standards and meeting communication objectives through imagery, logos, and taglines.
- Create design projects from concept to production for large scale vendor graphics and taglines, including SEGs (large graphics), wall wraps, and other team projects as assigned.
- Work and communicate directly with vendors, ensuring all designs meet brand standards.
- Revise detailed layouts and provide execution efficiencies.
- Build ready-to-go final artwork files for digital or print.
- Execute multiple assignments on time, and revise to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Remain in tune with design trends and maintain best practices. Share findings with fellow artists to create an atmosphere for continual collaboration.
- Ability to self manage project workload and communicate timelines/progress with Vendor Relations Project Manager.
- General Marketing responsibilities:
- Actively participate in team and office meetings/trainings
- Confer with leadership to resolve problems or questions
- Strive to meet goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals
- Ability to be highly organized and maintain all detailed aspects of projects
- Continuous brainstorm of new processes to improve workflows
- Strong initiative for continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and with the team
- Build and maintain Marketing standards
- Ensure the Scheels brand style guide is upheld across all digital and video content.
- Organize daily routines, budget management, and general administrative tasks.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Must be flexible to work between 7am – 5pm – M-F, with some nights and weekends as needed. Averaging between 40 - 45 hours per week.

- Demonstrate pride and ownership of their work while meeting expected deadlines
- 2-4 years of design experience preferred
- BFA or BA in Graphic Design or a related field
- Experience with working on iOS / Apple operating system
- Proficient at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
