The Role

We’re looking for a Hiring Manager with a People Ops mindset—someone who cares about how people join the team and how they grow once they’re here. You’ll lead hiring across departments, own a thoughtful onboarding process, and help build internal systems that keep our team connected, aligned, and supported.

This is a mid-level role perfect for someone with HR, recruiting, or people operations experience who’s ready to take on more ownership. You’ll be a central part of how we scale—helping us grow our team with intention and ensuring our culture doesn’t get lost along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle hiring for multiple teams—from kickoff to offer letter
  • Partner with department leads to define roles, success profiles, and hiring plans
  • Create inclusive, values-aligned job listings and candidate evaluation frameworks
  • Serve as a key gatekeeper of the Tely mindset, ensuring every hire is a cultural fit
  • Design and own onboarding programs that feel warm, clear, and rooted in purpose
  • Track onboarding progress and support hiring managers with post-hire check-ins
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential candidates for future roles
  • Support internal people systems—team updates, role transitions, feedback loops, and tools
  • Coordinate with leadership on headcount planning, internal mobility, and culture initiatives
  • Help foster a team culture that values transparency, growth, and human connection

Requirements

What Sets You Apart

  • 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or people operations Strong understanding of full-cycle hiring and onboarding
  • Empathetic, observant, and able to spot both red flags and potential
  • Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and onboarding tools
  • Confident communicator across roles and levels
  • Committed to building inclusive, equitable hiring practices
  • Bonus: Experience with employee engagement, DEI, or internal communications
  • Bonus: Experience working in a healthcare, tech, or fast-paced startup environment
  • Bonus: Experience using Paylocity
