Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing concrete team to ensure efficiency, accountability, and safety.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of concrete projects, ensuring high-quality execution, timely completion, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to align project strategies with company objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and scalability.
- Analyze, estimate, and create competitive proposals based on client plans.
- Drive business development efforts to grow revenue and expand our concrete division.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Promote a safety-first culture and implement protocols to mitigate risks.
- Monitor budgets, forecasting, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
- Optimize resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and labor.
- Be a hands-on leader willing to step in where needed, from troubleshooting field issues to providing direct guidance on installations.
- Embrace a "wear multiple hats" mentality to ensure project success and team support.
- Proven experience in concrete operations management, preferably within the multifamily or commercial construction industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete construction, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, growth strategies, and forecasting.
