Accounting and Office Assistant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Sort and coordinate incoming mail both UPS and email communication.
- Maintaining organized filing systems for all accounting documents, both physical and electronic.
- Coordinate correspondence with customers, suppliers, vendors and other internal & external parties.
- Accurately input financial data into accounting software from invoices, receipts, and other documents.
- Process bank deposits.
- Order office supplies, help maintain office equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service.

- Perform other essential duties as assigned
- One to three years of office administration experience.
- Familiar with bookkeeping or accounting software systems. (Prefer working knowledge of QuickBooks). Familiar with MS Office suite and email platforms.
- Ability to work professionally with others.
- Enthusiastic, creative team member.
- Self-Motivated with solid time management skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Solid communication skills, written as well as verbal.
- Strong attention to detail; confidentiality required
- Adaptable—thrives in a constantly changing work environment
- Work Availability – Available to 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Able to work in an office environment, physical positions such as stooping, bending, turning, twisting, walking upstairs reaching and squatting.
