Dispatcher (8pm-6am)

Job Summary

We are seeking a tech savvy and organized dispatcher to join our team. Our dispatchers coordinate pick-up and delivery of freight accurately and efficiently. They utilize our company’s technology system to process and close driver trips while supporting the operations team with administrative tasks.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8pm Start Time

Pay: $24-$26/hour (based on experience and skills)

Essential Job Duties

• Plans and implements methods and procedures for efficient pickup and delivery of freight.
• Verifies accuracy of pick-up orders placed by Customer Service Representatives.
• Maintain and facilitate communication with drivers to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
• Communicates with Operations and Customer Service Representative personnel to resolve operational and freight issues.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Able work irregular hours when necessary.
• Knowledge of the city/urban literacy
• Detailed oriented, analytical, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
