Your ‘day To Day’
- Lead assigned production line(s) with full 24-hour accountability to achieve business goals, including planned production volume, budget adherence, safety, and quality compliance, while ensuring full implementation of the Integrated Operating System (IOS) and PMI standards. Serve as the line owner for Incident Elimination, Quality Trigger, Clean, Inspect & Lubricate, and Defect Handling Daily Management Systems (DMS). Responsibilities may extend beyond this list, and the company reserves the right to modify duties as needed.
- Safety & Sustainability: Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and legal standards. Lead sustainability efforts, oversee waste management, pollution control, and enforce safety protocols. Implement key routines like Shift DDS and Pre/Post Huddles.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high product quality by enforcing QMS standards, monitoring quality triggers, and ensuring full traceability. Lead continuous improvements, timely quality checks, and corrective actions.
- Daily Operations: Lead DDS meetings, set 24-hour priorities, and oversee key performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Production). Drive problem-solving, eliminate losses, and ensure accurate data recording for business decisions.
- Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure maintenance schedules are followed, lead defect handling, and oversee Clean, Inspect & Lubricate (CIL) systems to maintain machine reliability and stability.
- People Management & Development: Lead, train, and develop the team, fostering ownership and technical growth. Build strong relationships with stakeholders through communication and collaboration. Apply recognition and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Implement structured plans to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and drive efficiency. Use problem-solving tools (IPS, 6W2H, UPS) to resolve chronic issues. Ensure adherence to change management procedures.
- Performance Evaluation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, track KPIs, and execute training plans. Supervise and evaluate personnel, ensuring proper qualification and professional development.
- REQUIRED: Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- REQUIRED: Local to Wilson, NC
- PREFERRED: Bachelors or Masters Degree or Technical School Scientific Degree
- PREFERRED: 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing specific environment/ 2+ years in people management position
