Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Monday:Triage/Phones: 7:45pm-4:00pm Tuesday: 10:00-7:00pm Rooming with one provider. Wednesday: 9:00am-7:00pm (rooming with provider one provider) Thursday: Triage/Phones: 7:45am-3:00pm. Friday: Triage/Phones: 7:45-1:00pm. One Saturday a month 7:45am-1:00pm (Friday off when working that Saturday)

The Role You’ll Contribute

Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • May document the provider's encounter with patients. Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcare Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) also accepted.
