Walk West
, a digital strategy firm where Donald serves as Executive Chairman, but will support
activities across all of his ventures
, including podcasting, publishing, public speaking, executive coaching, advisory boards, and strategic partnerships.
This role is ideal for those who excel in a fast-paced environment—you'll be the strategic right hand for a high-velocity executive who operates across multiple time zones, markets, and industries.

, a columnist for WRAL TechWire, and an active board member for organizations such as ECU Health, EasterSeals UCP, and NC State's Computer Science Department. His expertise spans go-to-market strategy, corporate branding, leadership development, innovation, and operational excellence.
Donald is also a frequent keynote speaker and trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, executives, and private equity firms across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Calendar & Priority Management:
Orchestrate and prioritize an extremely busy and evolving schedule across board meetings, client engagements, travel, interviews, podcasts, writing deadlines, and speaking engagements.
Communications & Gatekeeping
Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound requests and communications. Draft and edit emails, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure clear, professional communication on Donald's behalf.
Project & Business Support
Manage and track key deliverables across a diverse set of initiatives (speaking, advisory, book launches, podcast production, board prep, etc.), ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are aligned.
Event & Media Coordination
Coordinate logistics for public appearances, podcast recordings, media interviews, and book events. Liaise with PR teams, publishers, and podcast producers as needed.
Travel & Logistics
Handle complex travel itineraries, lodging, speaking prep, and meeting briefs to ensure smooth transitions and high-performance outcomes.
Information Management
Organize and maintain critical documents, bios, headshots, board materials, and speaking assets across platforms. Anticipate needs before they arise.
Experience
WHAT YOU BRING
At least 5 years of experience supporting a senior executive, entrepreneur, or public figure with a dynamic professional footprint.
Business Acumen
You understand the nuances of board meetings, investor relations, public speaking engagements, media interviews, and high-growth businesses.
Writing & Communication
You're a strong, concise communicator. You can write with polish, tone-match, and represent Donald's voice in communications when needed.
Tech Fluency
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, and project/task management tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Trello). Familiarity with podcast scheduling, booking platforms, or CRM systems is a plus.
Trust & Discretion
You'll be exposed to confidential information, relationships, and financials. A strong sense of judgment and professional discretion is critical.
