Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 21
- Valid MA State Driver's License
- Deploy to any program as staffing needs dictate.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures for all program models and populations funded by DCF and DYS, including Adolescent Staff Secure, Adolescent Detention, Latency CTR and Latency ERP.
- Serve as a role model for other staff by adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.
- Perform all assigned duties at various locations during various shifts.
- Serve as the Shift Supervisor on each assigned shift. Participate in and collaborate with all team members of the assigned program.
- Model, train, direct and supervise all staff while keeping with the program policies and practices.
- Engage and relate to a diverse population to establish a trusting relationship that aligns with the unique needs of the youth (age, setting, etc.)
- Daily coordination of youth and staff in executing the plan of the day in accordance with program, DCF, DYS, DMH, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.
- Report and document concerns to the Program Director or designee.
- Attend supervision, staff and shift change meetings and training as required.
- Co-lead daily groups as assigned.
- Assist with crisis management and utilize CPI skills.
- Follow through on program schedules.
- Respect the diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
