Mexico Public Affairs serves as the primary point of contact for all Company interactions with Mexican Federal, State and Local Officials, as well as foreign government officials (ambassadors, consuls, etc.).

  • Advocate on behalf of the company on legislation and regulation related to automotive safety, environment, energy, tax, trade and health care.
  • Provide operational support, particularly for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, to ensure execution of business plan.
  • Secure economic incentives and other financial resources to support the Company’s capital investments.
  • Leading the trade strategy and interaction with public and private stakeholders to influence policy for preferential and competitive market access for the company.

Strategic

Identify and follow up on federal government’s public policies related to auto industry trends

Promotes tax incentives and administrative facilities with Federal and State governments to ensure competitiveness of manufacturing operations

Develop strategies for international trade negotiations and Stellantis trade operations.

2 Operational

Maintenance of FCA’s industry registration at the Ministry of Economy and Fiscal Depot authorization at SAT

Import and export quota management at the Ministry of Economy

Federal Government vehicle registrations before commercial launch – REPUVE, SHCP, SE.

10-12 years of experience in public policy related areas, government, trade.

Bachelor´s degree

Master’s degree desirable

English (Fluent)
