Position Overview

Responsible for reconciling and confirming production data based on batch cards and entering into ERP system; identifying and resolving discrepancies and converting inventory to finished packaged goods. This role also manages and tracks inventory movements between warehouses.

Supports procurement and production planning operations team as assigned.

This is a hybrid role with regular in-office days required. This position offers a generous benefits package, an annual bonus opportunity, and half-day Fridays!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform production confirmations using batch cards, input to ERP system and ensure proper tracking of all produced goods.
  • Identify discrepancies on production confirmations.
  • Investigate any discrepancies and work closely with copacker, ops and quality teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Create and release production orders
  • Enter product data record Good Issue or Good Receipt in the system.
  • Perform change of stock, stock adjustment and scrapping as required
  • Create and manage internal and external stock transfers
  • Request monthly inventories from warehouses & co-packers in USA
  • Drive and conduct adjustments and reconciliations in SAP post-production
  • Assist transaction with import containers and inventory posting.
  • Assist monthly financial close ensuring all transactions and data are posted in a timely manner
  • Generate reports and assist in providing data for operational analysis, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Suggest process improvements related to production confirmations and assist in streamlining workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Works closely with Procurement, Inventory, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and Finance staff.
  • Support new projects on an as needed basis.

Education, Experience And Other Skills/Competencies

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Inventory concepts and reconciliation experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business ByDesign or similar systems.
  • Ability to identify issues and work proactively to resolve them.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Strong MS office skills required
