Job Overview

Executive Exteriors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant - AR/AP Specialist to manage our day-to-day financial transactions. This role will primarily focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. As a critical part of our finance team, you'll contribute directly to our operations, supporting residential, commercial, and government/federal projects. The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert with a passion for numbers, precision, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, vendor payments, and invoices
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce monthly AR/AP reports
• Process project-related billing and ensure timely collections
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and payment reminders
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, company procedures, and job costing
• Work with project managers and estimators to verify billing data and job codes
• Assist with month-end closing and audits as needed
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a proactive manner
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely payments
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or a related field
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Required)
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes, billing cycles, and reconciliations
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with job costing, billing in project-based environments is a plus
