Accounting Clerk

Location: Roseville, IL

Pay: $23–$27/hour

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable (AP):
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire transfers
• Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end closing
• Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Generate and send invoices to customers
• Apply customer payments and reconcile AR accounts
• Follow up on outstanding balances and assist with collections
• Process credit memos and assist with account adjustments
• General Accounting Support:
• Assist with financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial records and support audits
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to both AP and AR
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
