Description

  • Perform loader check list before start on shift.
  • Ensure live decks stay full.
  • Shift loader driver must fill live decks before he receives the truck tickets.
  • Receive truck tickets
  • The trucks can wait the short time it takes to fill the live decks. If there is a second truck in line, fill the live decks up before you receive the second truck.

Live decks take priority

  • Every 4 hours of the shift you work; you must take time and blow off the loader.
  • 10am/pm, 2am/pm, 6am/pm are the required times that you need to blow off the wheel loader you are operating. **This should not take longer than 15 minutes. **
  • before you blow off the wheel loader, please contact the mill room to let them know you are doing this task and will not be able to load the live decks during this time. Please wait till another person relieves you of your duties above before cleaning off your wheel loader. If you are on day shift with the mix loader operator, he can relieve you, but you still must alert the mill room that you are cleaning off your loader and give the mixing loader time to swap buckets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
  • Two Years’ Experience in Heavy Equipment Experience.
  • One Year of Plant Manufacturing Experience.
  • Must Complete Written and Field Training for Loader.
  • Ability to Climb Ladders, Stairs, Scaffolding, and Ramps.
  • Ability to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Reach, Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Lift, Grasp, Shovel, Rake, and any Necessary Requirements to Keep Clean and Safe.
  • Ability to Work Extended Hours to include nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
  • Ability to Work Outdoors, Rotating Shifts, and Lift 50 Pounds Required.
