Provide tours of the Colorado Springs Olympic& ParalympicTraining Centerfor all visiting guests (internal and external).
Here’s How You ‘ll Have An Impact
- Share the mission and values of the U.S.Olympic& ParalympicCommittee(USOPC)through informative and captivating tours of the Colorado Springs Olympic& ParalympicTraining Center (CSOPTC). Tour guests include, butarenot limited to, tourists from all over the country and world, visiting athletes and families, community partners, sponsors, National Governing Bodies, USOPC staff, VIPs, donors, resident athletes and schools.
- Conduct VIP Tours that includeadditionalbehind the scenesvisits and dialogue.
- Adapt the CSOPTC tour script as your own ensuring guests receivean accurate yet unique experience.
- Collaborate with CSOPTC Visitor Center leadership in continually updating and editing the tour script with new FAQ, advancements in sport, upgrades to the CSOPTC, news on the Olympic and Paralympic Movements and more.
- Assist with staffing the front deskwith tasks such as point of sale, cash reconciliation,guests’inquiries,answering phones,tour gathering, data capture, etc.
- Provide top level customer service to all guests of the CSOPTC and help grow a passion for the Olympic & Paralympic Movement.
- Assist fellow Tour Ambassadors with CSOPTC Visitor Center opening and closing procedures to include (but not limited to) operatingaudio-visualequipment, reconciling cashdrawer, scheduling large group tours and preparing for VIP tours.
- Assist with event set-up and teardown.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/AED/FirstAid or willing to get certified
- Tour guide or equivalent experience preferred
- Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable speaking in large groups of 50 or more.
- Must have reliable transportation and communication (email and cellphone preferred)
- Prolonged standing/walking
- Prolonged use of voice
- Exposure to all types of weather conditions

Here's Some More Information You Need To Know
- Hiring pay range: $15.33 - $18.02 Per hour
- This Temporary, Non-Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
