Job Summary:

Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness is looking for someone who has a kind approach with the elderly, is a good listener, can build rapport easily, and has good communication skills. If you are interested in making a difference in our residents lives and can work collaboratively with others, we would love to have you apply for our Admissions Coordinator position and be apart of the EmpRes family. *Must be on-call every other weekend

Essential Functions:

• Assist in coordinating the admission of each new resident, ensuring resident’s room is ready before they arrive and communicating with all departments to prepare for the new resident
• Obtain required information and admit residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Conduct facility tours and ensure the interior of the facility is tour-ready
• Maintain a current listing of all residents, their level of care, and assigned room numbers
• Maintain an accurate record of available beds
• Collect, assemble, and check admission papers
• Assist in the orientation program for residents and families in accordance with our established policies and procedures
• Preferred: Healthcare knowledge
