Purpose of Job

Newegg is a leading global e-commerce platform, empowering customers with innovative technology and exceptional service. We’re seeking an experienced eCommerce Merchandising Manager to drive growth and success in our Monitor product category.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising programs to promote brands and products, ensuring alignment with key campaigns and promotions.
  • Campaign Management: Manage product merchandising for high-impact campaigns, including daily deals and category-specific exposures.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with major brand vendors, manage vendor funding and spent, and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly review competitor activities and internal/external trend changes to identify opportunities and enhance merchandising strategies.
  • Content Management: Oversee the process of managing content on Newegg platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
  • Sales Coordination: Forecast potential sales, schedule communications with key sellers, and provide insights on sales trends at various price points.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to execute merchandising programs, identify external advertising opportunities, and facilitate a promotional calendar.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting metrics to measure the performance of merchandising efforts.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product launches, and competitive price points.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Handle production and supply difficulties and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce marketing, Google PLA, SEM and SPA
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
