Position Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by preparing and serving breakfast in a clean, welcoming environment. This role includes setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast area, as well as ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing needs promptly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Will report to Housekeeping Manager/Assistant General Manager

Guest Service:
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and interacting directly with guests. The Breakfast Attendant must be able to handle food safely, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating and breakfast inquiries.
- Ability to effectively deal with customers and staff while executing high levels of patience tact and diplomacy.
- Monitor the breakfast area to ensure it remains stocked and guests have what they need.
- Provide information about menu options and address guest concerns or special dietary needs.
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food, beverages, utensils, and condiments.
- Ensure the breakfast area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Knowledge of cooking, preparing, and displaying weekly menu cold and hot items
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed during breakfast hours.
- Maintain proper food safety standards by checking and recording temperatures of food and beverages.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and food service equipment.
- Dispose of waste and handle dishwashing duties as needed.
- Break down the breakfast area and store food and equipment appropriately after service.
- Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs to the manager.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Provide feedback to management on guest preferences or concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 pounds.
