Job Title: Rental Dispatch Lead

The Rental Dispatch Lead directs rental department operations to streamline processes, ensure departmental accuracy, and enhance customer and employee satisfaction, while improving efficiency in manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily operations of the Rental Department.
- Answer rental calls and assist walk-in customers.
- Ensure rental paperwork, including photos and rental agreements, are correctly completed before equipment leaves the yard.
- Perform weekly invoicing for rentals, damages, and fuel billing promptly.
- Arrange shipping of equipment, secure competitive bids, and track freight.
- Process DMV paperwork for rental fleet vehicles.
- Supervise and direct daily tasks for Rental Tech and Yard/Wash Bay staff.
- Complete receiving paperwork and update equipment records within 24 hours.
- Conduct equipment check-ins, photograph, and perform preliminary damage inspections upon return, notifying supervisor of any damages.
- Issue service requests for rental and sales equipment, ensuring timely completion.
- Complete Purchase Order requests for stock equipment as needed.
- Manage inventory for attachments and complete year-end inventory counts.
- Coordinate with sales personnel on equipment availability, freight quotes, and shipping logistics.
- Maintain and update equipment records, including transfers, rental rates, and status changes.
- Schedule delivery drivers and oversee yard and facility maintenance, including emergency repairs and special projects.
- Generate reports and spreadsheets as requested by management.
- Code invoices related to freight and rental equipment inter-branch transfers.
