Pay Rate: $20–$30/hour
Duration: 12-month contract with strong potential for extension
Travel: 10% (must be open to occasional travel to Canada and Mexico)

We’re seeking an Engineer to support multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This fully onsite role offers the opportunity to lead hands-on project execution, working closely with engineers, contractors, and production teams to ensure successful installation and launch of new equipment.

Within a consultant business setting, we support clients in different industries from a Health & Safety Perspective as well as our partnering clients that support opportunities within the Auto Industry from a recruitment perspective.

We’re seeking an Engineer to support multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This fully onsite role offers the opportunity to lead hands-on project execution, working closely with engineers, contractors, and production teams to ensure successful installation and launch of new equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, timeline, and budgets.
- Develop comprehensive scopes of work, bid packages, and technical specifications.
- Procure and track equipment, budgets, and milestone deliverables.
- Supervise contractor work onsite in coordination with plant trades and teams.
- Ensure timely, efficient installations and troubleshoot project delays with solid countermeasures.
- Maintain detailed project schedules aligned with production timelines.
- Communicate and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, affiliate companies, and vendors.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Strong leadership in managing field installations and coordinating across teams
- Experience managing Toyota-based projects
- Background in automotive paint processes
- Experience with conveyor design or installation
- Familiarity with calculating cost savings from energy-efficient upgrades (Electricity, Gas, Water, etc.)
