What you'll do:
Assist with the GAP analysis for the new CMMC 2.0 requirements. This is a part-time flexible position over the next threeto four months. A great opportunity for a college student looking for some real-world experience. Someone is needed to collaborate with the Cyber Security consulting expert and upper management.

Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Basic Knowledge:
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-171).
- Understanding of data protection and compliance standards.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 or Azure.
- Exposure to security tools like endpoint detection and response (EDR) or password managers.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Documentation:
- Assist in creating and updating the System Security Plan (SSP).
- Document security controls and implementation details.
- Maintain records of compliance activities.
- Policy Development:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Technical Assistance:
- Aid in configuring and managing security tools.
- Monitor and report on system security metrics.
