BIM Drafter - Modular Construction
We are looking for a talented BIM Drafter with hands-on experience using Revit software to build detailed BIM models for our modular construction projects. As a BIM Drafter, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to create high-quality, accurate, and efficient BIM models that will be used throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling: Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Revit to support modular construction projects.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and construction information.
Documentation: Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and plans from BIM models, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and assembly details. Create permit set packages for plan view and shop drawings for production.
Revit Family Creation: Create and manage custom Revit families for modular components and systems.
Coordination: Perform clash detection and resolve any issues related to model coordination and collaboration.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in BIM drafting and 3D modeling, with a strong focus on Revit software.
Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proficiency in Revit: Advanced knowledge of Revit software, including creating and modifying Revit families, setting up templates, and creating construction documentation.
Knowledge of BIM Standards: Understanding of industry BIM standards and protocols, including clash detection, BIM coordination, and model management.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
