As a Cook, you will be responsible for improving our residents experience and maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Your focus will be the basic quality-of-life for our residents, so duties such as taking dining orders, food preperation, and following dietary procedures will be key in the individualized care.

Your focus will be the basic quality-of-life for our residents, so duties such as taking dining orders, food preperation, and following dietary procedures will be key in the individualized care.

- Ensure that all dining services/dietary procedures are followed in accordance with establish policies.
- Checking diet trays before distribution. Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas. Serve food in dining rooms as instructed
- Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as with our establishments policies and procedures.
- Assist in inventory and storng in-coming food and supplies as necessary.
- Follow Dietary safety regulations and precautions at all times.
- Greets and assists all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors and team members.
- Minimum 1 year cook experience.
- Must be alert and attentive to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Be able to make independent decisions concerning above job duties.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
- Be knowledgeable of dietary and meal prep practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Part-time Cook position for day/evening shift availability
- Rotating Holiday Schedule
- Weekend and every other weekend availablility
