Most Important Requirement
- PLC Programming – You MUST be able to program, troubleshoot, read, write, and modify logic independently. This is the core of the job.
- Build, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic and control systems from the ground up.
- Work with relay logic, switches, circuits, servo drives, and automation equipment.
- Program and support robotics, safety circuits, cameras, and motion controllers.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (voltage, meg, and ohm checks required).
- Plan and execute machine integration, safety certifications (NFPA79/ISO), and start-up support.
- Travel up to 30%, including trips to Japan after ~3 months for hands-on collaboration.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical troubleshooting.
- Proven ability with relay logic, wiring, electrical meters, and servo systems.
- Strong knowledge of robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
- Flexible and dependable with availability for weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
- Comfortable working 100% onsite in steel toe boots.
- Technical associate degree or equivalent real-world experience.
- Pre-production or facility startup experience.
- Familiarity with Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS).
- Experience in cleanroom or high-volume production environments.
- Positive, team-first attitude.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to teach and grow.
- Excellent communication and adaptability.
